About Us

Pernicis by: Belladonna
This discipline allows the vampire to transcend the mortal limitations upon her body in the area of quick, coordinated movement - giving her greater balance, dexterity, and agility than should be humanly possible. The vampire becomes lighter on her feet, quicker to react, and capable of amazingly nimble feats of agility and dexterity. She may be able to run across a tightrope, balance on an impossibly thin ledge, perform feats of acrobatics such as flips and tumbles with ease, climb or scale perilous surfaces with impunity, or excel at feats of dexterity such as juggling, sculpting, or lock-picking.
Like Fortitude and Potence, the effects of this discipline are permanent and automatic - requiring neither activation or concentration for use.

System:
The player rolls all Dexterity-related tests normally, but then adds one automatic success for each level in this discipline. Therefore, the vampire is capable of succeeding at most tests of agility or dexterity without needing to roll. In the case of combat, the successes are added to the Attack or Dodge rolls.
1 point is also added to all Initiative rolls for each level of the discipline (Initiative becomes Dexterity + Wits + Pernicis + 1d10).
